Eligibility depends on the program. Academy coaching enquiries and admission to Sainik Schools, RMS, RIMC or Navodaya are separate processes. Use the official examination prospectus for school-entry age limits and qualifications.
The medium of instruction in the classes is English, Hindi and Gujarati. The academic year begins from April to march and is divided into two terms, candidates of 5th and 8th standards are prepared for the following examinations:
